Across the Bay or around the world, I can help your team keep things moving. My work in the tradeshow and expo sector is defined by a high-stakes blend of rapid logistical execution, material innovation, and strategic spatial planning for global audiences.
Innovative Events, Measurable Impacts.
International Logistics, Meet Interactive Storytelling
I led the fabrication, technical integration, and international deployment of the USA Pavilion’s "Future Energy" exhibit for Astana EXPO 2017. The project required the creation of complex interactive elements, including delicate z-scale miniature landscapes, that had to be engineered for extreme durability to survive a journey from Alameda to Astana and the high-traffic environment of a global Expo.
By successfully shipping and installing delicate interactive miniatures across the globe, I helped captivate 450,000 international visitors and achieved a staggering 92% satisfaction rate.
A Seamless Stateside Debut
Tasked with launching the inaugural U.S. presence for HR Tech World (now UNLEASH), I directed the rapid transformation of the historic Fort Mason Center. The objective was to convert a massive, linear industrial shell into a multi-functional global summit for 10,000 attendees from 120 countries. With a strict two-day load-in window and even tighter strike requirements, the project demanded logistical precision and creative spatial problem solving.
The event successfully established HRN’s brand in the U.S. market, proving that industrial landmarks could be optimized for modern, high-tech trade shows. My ability to deliver a complex, multi-zone environment under extreme time constraints resulted in a "win-win" for stakeholders: exhibitors saw record foot traffic, and attendees experienced a thoughtfully paced networking environment.
Invisible Visible: Engineering Magic
How do you debut a breakthrough in MRI technology? By building an exhibit as precise as the science itself. To launch ViewRay’s MRIdian system, I led the prototyping and development of magic mirror monoliths - sleek, black obelisks that revealed high-definition medical imagery with zero visible hardware.
With custom-layered smoky acrylic, ceramic UV films, and hidden LED panels, we delivered a seamless reveal that captivated thousands of attendees at ESTRO 2017.
