January 2020 – September 2021

Oversee logistics for touring, installation/de-installation, technical, and other support for the successful

operation of the exhibit while at a hosting venue, serving as point of contact for hosting museums and

pop‐up exhibit sites. Implement issue reporting system, manage equipment replacements, warranty and

non‐warranty repairs, and any exhibit changes and/or purchases, and coordinate repairs with vendors to

ensure smooth operation for hosting venues. Train hosting exhibit floor and technical staff on all aspects

of the exhibit operation. Manage cost analysis and revenue model planning for staff and store

operations for pop‐up installations at retail shopping centers.

Exhibit Project Manager

Virtual Science Center, Sunnyvale, CA

January 2018 – December 2019

Managed all aspects of design and fabrication of $4M, 5000 sq. ft. traveling Virtual and Augmented

Reality exhibit, including budgeting, schedules, coordination, and documentation through exhibit

development, design, prototyping, software development, visitor testing, fabrication, and installation.

Wrote all proposal requests and oversaw bid process, including contract negotiation, for multiple

vendors. Coordinated all communication between cross‐functional vendor and internal teams.

Completed operational, safety, guest experience, and ADA-focused design reviews of all exhibit

components, with a special focus on global user experiences for improved experiences for diverse

audiences. Directly supervised software/hardware integration and component installation teams for

December 2019 opening.

Project Manager

Projects included: Randall Museum, Indiana State Museum Log Cabin Exhibit, Golden State Warriors

Mission Bay Sales Center, EVN Interactive Traveling Exhibit for GE, SoCal Gas A/R Exhibit, HP Corporate

HQ, Pixar Siggraph, HR Tech World Expo, and various Tradeshow Clients

Directed all aspects for exhibit fabrication projects for Museums, Retail Environments, and Tradeshows

from pre‐contract through completion. Managed pre‐production planning, including advising on scope,

managing project budget, materials purchasing, and fabrication schedule. Managed internal and

external stakeholders throughout project duration. Direct A/V, Detailing, Graphics, Electrical, Wood, and

Metal Fabrication plus Logistics, Installation, and other departments as needed. Position required the

ability to anticipate issues, identify future choke points, and pre‐plan effectively to alleviate potential

issues, remain adaptable to shifting priorities and satisfy clients.

Special Projects Manager

Discovery Cube, Santa Ana, CA

January 2012 – December 2014

Projects included: Discovery Cube – Los Angeles, Discovery Village at the Solar Decathlon XPO, Indiana

Jones and the Adventure of Archaeology, NASA Curiosity Rover and Rocket Lab exhibit upgrade, You Be

the Chemist California State Challenge 2011‐ 2013, Polar Obsession, Mission Control.

Planned for diverse events, from multi‐week festivals to transformation of exhibit gallery space into a film

studio for a single evening. Facilitated cross‐team collaboration, and coordination throughout the center.

Managed relationships with outside vendors, including the main construction contractor, through exhibit

installations, physical plant construction projects, and facility and exhibit rehabilitation. Oversaw all

warehousing and logistics for Science Center and Traveling/Leased Exhibits property. Managed small

teams for exhibit installations. Controlled majority of operational procurement, within department

budget of approximately $5 million dollars/year. Maintained tight budgets on grant‐funded projects,

assisted in grant reporting requirements and new grant applications. Provided Internal Project

Management for Discovery Cube Los Angeles, keeping all departments on schedule for November 2014

opening.

Operations Coordinator

Discovery Cube, Santa Ana, CA

February 2007 – December 2011

Projects included: The Great California Shakeout and SCEC EpiCenter partnership 2009–2014,

Smithsonian Affiliate Application, new cubicle installations, two‐way radio system implementation,

DinoQuest Repaint/Age & Grain, American Chemical Society, Spooky Science, Bubblefest, and Science of

Gingerbread Annual Events and Programming.

Managed facility maintenance vendors, purchasing, and exhibit logistics. Assisted in program planning

and implementation. Worked closely with accounting department to log all incoming checks and

invoices, and performed monthly credit card reconciliation for largest department in science center.

Maintained extensive knowledge of all activities and events, strong interpersonal skills in dealing with

guests and staff, and the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects. Managed exhibit rehabilitation,

from DinoQuest repaint to KidStation overhaul.
